Landscape Construction

Green Survival creates, and cares for award winning gardens. Winning its first Landscape Construction Excellence Award for a Japanese garden in 1984, Green Survival has since won 14 awards for landscape construction excellence. When constructing any garden Green Survival assesses: 1 . Drainage and soil structure; 2. Correct, creative and colour co-ordinated planting themes; and, 3. Watering requirements to ensure the right garden preparation.

Green Survival knows poorly drained garden beds contribute to 50 per cent of deaths in plant stock. Green Survival are drainage experts. We have 25 years experience understanding soils, their nutrition, structure and compatibility especially imported soils and their role as soil conditioners.

The garden (pictured) complements the Noveau Australian house. The thousand year old grass trees with native grass underplanting highlight the architecture. The total garden is a good example of fortified soils. The strong mineral base of Toowoomba's rich red clay loams were fortified with organic matter. In order to fulfil the unique planting requirements of this project, plants were sourced from the vast network of nurseries on the east coast of Australia.

Green Survival constructs all garden themes including Native Australian, Japanese, Renaissance or Santa Fe. Green Survival constructs gardens to your particular requirements within environmental guidelines.
